Watchdog for camera system

ViMon is a device to watch over camera system. It can detect any errors and reboot system if the camera connected to a PC card stops sending video.

ViMon has two cooperating parts – hardware and software. The software checks the function of the video card and periodically informs the hardware that the device is OK. If the hardware detects a communication failure or receives information that it is not saving, it reboots the system.
